The Food Market in Columbia is set to open on Friday April 9 at 4 P.M. They announced the opening yesterday in a post on Instagram. The restaurant is located at 10480 Little Patuxent Parkway on the Mall side of Little Patuxent across the street from Merriweather Post Pavilion. It was announced back on March 10, 2020 that The Food Market will be coming to Downtown Columbia.

The Food Market is a concept by Chef Chad Gauss and hand selected staff. Our goal is to provide up to par yet down to earth hospitality. We started in Hampden (Baltimore City) focusing on making classics our own in a relaxed chef driven atmosphere in 2012. Over the years we have been honored with countless awards. We have been a neighborhood place with a regional attraction and look forward to carrying this footprint into Columbia. The Food Market is very excited to be part of a new community and creating new friends. We pride ourselves as a great place to work. We love seeing our staff grow into their own excellence while being able to be themselves. We chose Howard County simply because of how wonderful the people are. All of our management team in Columbia came up through the ranks at our other locations and are excited to be here, for you!
